DISCOVER YARROW HALL

Yarrow Hall is a vibrant community village hall nestled in the picturesque Yarrow Valley, Scottish Borders. Our hall provides a versatile space for a wide range of community events, including children’s parties, plays, rehearsals, concerts, exhibitions, seminars, family gatherings, meetings, and presentations. We take pride in preserving the rich history of our hall while embracing modern events and activities.

The History of The Hall

In 1907, the then Duke of Buccleuch, Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, 8th Duke of Buccleuch and 10th Duke of Queensberry, granted a Feu of land around Yarrow in the Scottish Borders to the Parish Council of Yarrow.

His intention was to establish a Parish Hall as a valuable community asset, to be used for business, recreation, and other beneficial purposes.

This generous act laid the foundation for Yarrow Hall, a place where our community continues to thrive.

Today, we uphold the Duke's vision by providing a welcoming space for local residents, schools, and organisations. Our aim is to foster a strong sense of community, inclusion, and well-being, offering a refuge from isolation and promoting positive mental health and we invite individuals, families, and groups to join us at Yarrow Hall.

Here, connections are forged, memories are made, and the spirit of community is celebrated and as a hub for rural development and well-being, we strive to enhance the lives of all who call Yarrow home.
